We are on a mission to "Save The Bees" and our products are made with love in Palisades NY...
After decades in the greatest city (NYC) in the world, Brett and Yvonna Wright did what many American families have done, sort of. They packed up their Harlem Brownstone and moved the family out of the city in search of a simpler way of life. They never imagined their search for the perfect property would lead them to a nearly 200-year-old fixer upper farmhouse on five acres of land, just 20 miles outside of New York City.Read More
Working with the bees have taught us so much. Each bee has a job and all of them pitch in for the benefit of the species. We have taken this hive concept and made it our rules to live by. We have a delapated barn on our property that we want to turn into a beautiful space where people can take yoga classes, learn about beekeeping, attend seminars on organic gardening, teach people about making beeswax candles and come to delicious farm to table dinners.
LoMar Farms is located in The Hamlet of Palisades, NY, 19 miles north of NYC. We are rehabilitating the 200 year old property to be a friendly farm sanctuary that will serve the local community and our friends & family. Currently we have an Apiary that we started in 2014 for Honey Bees.view all
Bees are responsible for 1/3 of all the fruit and veggies we eat. It is critical that we do all we can to sustain their population.
An alarming statistic is that 42% of Bee Colonies Collapsed in 2015. Lomar Farms started Beekeeping in 2013 and we are now producing products that will allow us to do our small part in "Saving The Bees."
I got Lomar Farms wild honey scented candle as a Christmas present in 2019. It has the most amazing scent, not overpowering but sweet and clean smelling. Living in Vermont it seems weird to order a replacement candle from so far away when there are some local candle makers near me, but really nothing compares!
Got my massage oil ceramic pot candle... fig noir candle... and my honey!!! So excited and love knowing where it’s from and trusting the quality of the products. Will be back for that blood orange bergamot soap and that gorgeous beeswax treated canvas weekend travel bag and any other goodies to come!!! #KeepBeeKeeping
This is one of my favorite scents from Lomar Farms. It’s just such a beautiful scent. Whenever I’ve had anyone over and this candle has been burning, comments are always so positive about how wonderful the scent is. Just beautiful!
I got this as a gift and I love it! I’m very picky about candle scents and this is one of my favorites. It also burns very slowly, it seems, which is great.
I have been buying this Wild Mountain scent since the launch of Lomar. The smell is so subtle and wonderfully calming. I love this candle very much.
